SRC & Prefects

The Students Representative Council (SRC) of Picnic Point High School comprises of 28 students. Four students ( 2 boys & 2 girls) are elected from Years 7 to 10 and 12 students are elected from Year 11 to make up the Prefect Body.

The role of the elected students is to represent their Year by presenting concerns and recommendations of their fellow students to the SRC meetings. These issues can then be taken to the Principal, Deputy Principal or School Executive if the SRC considers them appropriate.

One duty of the SRC is to co-ordinate the fund-raising activities in the school. The school supports the Starlight Foundation, Legacy and other charitable organisations. The SRC also supports a World Vision child on behalf of the school.

The SRC provides financial support for students who, in their sporting or other endeavours, reach regional or higher level. The degree of support varies depending on the level of achievement and the costs involved.

The current SRC student names can be found on the Staff List page.
